Description
A sports jacket is the most personal garment a tailor makes. Goldings cuts it with a softer shoulder and easier waist than a town coat — made to be worn over flannels in the country or with cords at the weekend.
Tweeds, herringbones, windowpane and gun-club checks, or lighter mixtures for summer, carry the character. Pockets, edges, buttons and lining are yours to specify, and we can cut matching trousers in the same workroom.
Your Choices

Matching flannels, cords or cavalry twills cut in the same workroom.
Fittings & Lead Times
Measurements are taken and fittings overseen by Geoffrey Golding at the St Albans workroom, with each garment checked throughout the making process for fit, balance, finish and correct detail. Lead time is typically 8-12 weeks, depending on workshop capacity, fitting requirements and the date required.
