Rank and buttons
Rank on the established Service carrier; Artillery Bath stars or Infantry Garter stars, and the matching branch garment buttons. Blue boards are not a default khaki Service carrier.
Equipment
Sam Browne with shoulder brace and conditional sword fittings; ordinary brown or entitled ceremonial white gloves.
Cap and trousers
Matching formal forage cap/badge/button or the actual khaki-cap fitting; male trousers with braces.
Legwear options
Choose the existing skirt, dress or female-cut trouser outfit, or Service Dress Trousers. These are alternative outfits, not additional garments to wear together. Retain any rank, appointment, occasion and pattern conditions; select footwear and fittings to match the chosen legwear.
Rank
HAC Service rank is specified by Infantry or Artillery element and applied at fitting. Infantry uses the Garter-star exception; Artillery uses standard Bath stars, with crowns and device counts according to rank. No off-the-shelf rank badge or blue No. 1 carrier is automatically selected for this Service outfit.
Fittings & Lead Times
Measurements are taken and fittings overseen by Geoffrey Golding at the St Albans workroom, with each garment checked throughout the making process for fit, balance, finish and correct detail. Lead time is typically 8-12 weeks, depending on workshop capacity, fitting requirements and the date required.
