Scots Guards Lance Sergeant and Above Mess Dress is the No. 10 Dress worn by Lance Sergeants and above for mess dinners, formal evening functions and other occasions where mess dress is ordered.
A Goldings commission comprises the 1939-pattern scarlet jacket, dark blue waistcoat and trousers, cut and fitted to the wearer with regimental lapel badges and rank insignia applied to the authorised pattern.

1939-pattern scarlet cloth jacket with dark blue roll collar and dark blue pointed cuffs, without shoulder straps or buttons and without gold lace to the cuff. Regimental lapel badges and court-mounted miniature medals are worn.

Garter blue superfine waistcoat with U-front and black satin lining, fastened with three mounted 22-ligne anodised regimental buttons.
