The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment Red Rose of Lancaster Cap Badge (Metal Badge)

The other-ranks badge is matt gold metal with polished highlights and a red-enamel rose.

On the beret, other ranks wear the badge on a 4.5 cm square red diamond patch.

Standard cap-badge placement depends on the headdress: about 2 cm above the beret band towards the left eye; on the left of Kilmarnock, Balmoral and Tam O'Shanter bonnets about 3.6 cm above the band; towards the left eye on a caubeen except the Irish Guards' reversed right-eye placement; centred on the front band of forage and Service Dress caps; and at the front or side of felt hats.
