Wear
Authorised metal shoulder titles are worn on No. 6 Dress, may be worn on the shoulder straps of Nos. 13 and 14 Dress by the Regular Army and Territorial Army, and may be worn on No. 2 Dress by the RAC, RIFLES, Brigade of Gurkhas and London Regiment where applicable.

The standard metal shoulder title is anodized aluminium, 10 mm high and gold finished.
Construction
The correctly abbreviated regimental title is joined at the top and bottom between parallel lines.
Fastening
The reverse is fitted with a standard pin-and-clutch fastener.
Variant
